Meet Dr. Jaden Erwin

Honored to Serve My Hometown

As a Periodontist, my profession enables me to restore an individual’s oral health, thereby improving their overall body health and their smile. When I’m able to remove a person from pain and restore their function, I know their life will be better as a result: they will be able to eat the foods they love and smile with newfound confidence. I am thankful to be able to care for people in this way.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by a talented group of people who bring the highest levels of skill, integrity, and professionalism to our practice. Our team makes my work enjoyable, as I know everyone shares my respect and compassion for our patients. Each of us is committed to constantly improving our skills and expanding our knowledge in an effort to attain the goal of providing the highest quality of care possible.

I feel lucky to be able to accomplish that goal in a place where I was born and raised. I love what I do, and providing the best care possible to our patients is one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Education and Continuing Education

Prior to practicing periodontics, I completed the following:

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology, Montana State University
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), Creighton University
  • General Practice Residency, Idaho State University
  • Surgical Residency in Periodontics, University of Washington, Seattle
  • Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD), University of Washington, Seattle
  • Certificate in Periodontics, University of Washington, Seattle

Each year I complete many hours of continuing education (CE), including through a study group that I manage.  I often volunteer and teach at these meetings. By pursuing CE opportunities, I ensure I remain current on new technologies, advanced techniques, and state-of-the-art materials.

Through the American and Montana dental associations, I take courses in both the periodontic specialty and general dentistry, seeking out the latest information, innovations, and research. This allows me to provide the most gentle, effective care to patients and deliver the strongest results.

Beyond the Practice

I’m proud to be a lifelong resident of Helena, barring the years I was away at school. When I go home in the evening it’s to spend time with my wife Tiffany and our two children.

Like many of my patients, time with family takes top billing when I’m not at work. We love all the outdoor activities and hobbies that Montana offers. Personally, I love hunting and fishing, rafting, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, and flying.

I also appreciate our local community and believe supporting and giving back is important, as it enhances the quality of life for everyone. I proudly support the cultural arts in our area and frequently sponsor several of those organizations, along with sponsoring local sporting team and events. Additionally, I routinely donate to a variety of other important community fundraising efforts.
